Thanks to Chris Hayward at Oceancrest for the loan of a 2010 Chevy Traverse this week. This is the GM replacement for the old chevy blazer line and it's a huge improvement over the old favorite. Loved the heated seats, the navigation and electronic monitoring system that includes a back up camera that automatically comes on screen when you put the Traverse in reverse. Includes entertainment system with sat radio, On Star, DVD with wireless headphones. Really liked the rear seating with a large moonroof providing plenty of natural lighting for the rear of the vehicle in addition to the sunroof over the driver's area that includes a roller shade.
The Traverse is a super choice for families looking at upscale SUV's so if you are in the market make sure you check out the Chevy Traverse at Oceancrest in Warrenton.
Already semi-envious of your position at a neat little radio station wherein you get to talk about whatever you wish, and comment upon whatever strikes you as worthy, I now have to "endure" the knowledge of your adding auto test drives and comment to your list of "work", something I also always wanted to do. All you need to do to make me really mad is to hear that you are given a new Beneteau sailboat to test for a week in the Bahamas.

That is one nice car but what I am holding out for is for when Chrysler starts importing the Fiat 500 Abarth Zagato.

What a well engineered all-around auto and it took us a Ford Escape and a Land Rover to find it out.
Kind of miss the Esape but, not much.
The one that got me with the Land Rover was for me to get the codes for my radio Navigation System and get the radio to work at all, I had to go to Portland, leave the car for a number of days and then get charged out the "wazoooo" for some technician to punch in the codes?
Wanta buy a radio with a NAV System?
Just hurry up and get that fiat over here.
