OK. I give up.
Its perfectly okay to start a recall campaign when you disagree with decisions made by a duly elected official in public session. Especially if that person doesn't represent your personal views.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking the most extreme action that not only seeks to damage a person's reputation in perpetuity but remove them from office as well.
It's obviously justified by right of one's own righteous indignation to use every possible means to
accomplish the goal. Especially if the evidence is weak and the personal need for revenge is great.
I understand. All I had to do was read the list of members of CCfog to get this and capitulate.
Sorry Richard. Sorry Ann. Sorry Jeff. Sorry Patricia. Sorry Sam.

Yes Tom, It's a sorry situation...I don't agree with them either.
I understood the campaign, however as soon as I saw the list of the CCFOG people...the same people that defy any progress of any kind, I raised my eyebrows.
As always, they are just trying to make themselves out to be the MAJORITY of any subject...and unfortunately. they have the backing of OUR LOCAL NEWSPAPER in most instances...
Which makes it harder for the little guy, AKA, the MAJORITY of people, to get our voices heard.
I cannot stand the Daily Astorian's biases views...but unfortunately, that's what most people here see!

What is it you see, Tom? I see mostly friends of Josh, supporters of Cindy, friends of Helen, a few anti LNG folks and a building inspector.
The people on the list of which you speak looks like the CROIDA donation list. They should have just named themselves JCRC, Josh and Cindy's Revenge Committee. I wonder when they will be holding their bake sale?
Democracy! is their battle cry until the process does not produce the results they want. Then, the creation of a smear campaign begins in order to destroy anyone who has not agreed with them. This time, Recall is the vehicle of these Foggy Folks. They think nothing of assaulting the decency of our community with their hateful,vengeful and dishonest campaign, and I hope that those who are asked to sign their petitions (or vote if it comes to that), will do a little "truth detection" first. Lift the fog surrounding these people, and you will see a disturbing sight. Chris

Please quit thinking that all of us here need to be saved by your group. It is very tiring to see your actions and listen to you speak. You and the Daily A have a lot of commom ground. We are very tired of you.
These CFOG folks act like they speak for everyone in the county!! They sure dont speak for me! Will they ever stop trying to devide us? Please let the commissioners work and if you dont like their decisions, vote someone else in next time. This a terrible thing to do to the people or our communtity. CFOG should be ashamed.

Lee is being exposed for what he is, a bully who uses his office.
Lee's managed to united a wgole bunch of people who would never sit in the same room. But he can always count on Tom to give him a soft landing without any calls or actual questions. Fortunately KAST has Jeff!
In the negative comments about Lee, I have yet to see something that has substance. One guy wants him recalled because he is a bully? If Lee is getting specil favors because of his elected position, there is a really easy way to deal with that under the law. If some County employees feels reluctant to do his/her job because of possible retributions, they should get a new job. Gee, let's get real.
So we finally hear from the other side. Pal, you should stop drinking the KOOL-AID.
